Judah Dancers

Who we are The Judah Dancers are a ministry of Tikvat Israel Messianic Jewish Congregation. The main purpose of Judah is to praise God, utilizing various styles of dance. Dance was first created as a form of praise, and is a valid and useful tool for expressing adoration to the Lord.

Our History Judah began in 1984, with only two original members. Over the years, the membership has grown to about 20. We minister at the Feasts, at outreaches, and at nursing homes, malls, and community festivals. (Also available for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and funerals.)

Linda Doland, a member of the National Dance Committee of the UMJC, has led Judah since it's beginning, and teaches workshops at conferences and at other churches. We do workshops for other churches and groups when invited. The Judah Dancers do not charge a fee for ministering, but will accept an offering.

Come and Join Us Tikvat Israel also offers praise dance classes on Saturday mornings at 9. We teach dances for the songs that will be used in the worship service that morning, so that anyone who wants to praise God in the dance will be able to do so. There is no charge for these classes.
