Youth and Young Adults

The Tikvat Youth and Young Adults is comprised of congregational members from ages 13-30. Our mission is to unify the young people of Tikvat Israel under one common vision: to represent the young Jewish remnant of the body of Messiah in Richmond. We strive to fulfill our Messianic Jewish calling through times of worship, prayer, and discussion.

Wednesday Evenings

Every Wednesday we meet for combined youth and young adult worship, lead by our various worship teams, followed by a time of bible study or discussion. Certain weeks we may split up the youth and young adults for separate discussions on issues that pertain to their respective age groups.

Friday Night Shabbat

Every Friday evening the young adults meet for Shabbat dinner at various homes in the area. These potluck dinners are quite popular for not only members but also for invited friends and family. It is a wonderful time to socialize over a meal as we begin the Shabbat.

Just for fun

In addition to our weekly meetings, we have several social events throughout the year: cookouts, pool parties, road trips, and mere hang out times. Moreover, we plan fundraising events to raise money to attend special conferences and for travel to Israel.

We, as the members of the youth and young adults of Tikvat Israel, desire to remember our creator in the days of our youth.
